🎯 The Goal

Fill every empty cell so that each row, each column, and each 3×3 box contains the numbers 1 through 9 — with no repeats.

🕹️ How to Enter Numbers

• Click any empty cell to select it, then type a number (1–9) on your keyboard.
• Or drag a number from the palette at the bottom and drop it onto a cell.
• Or click a cell then click a number in the palette.
• Use arrow keys to move between cells.
• Press Backspace / Delete or drag ✕ to clear a cell.

🔴 Mistakes

If you place a wrong number, it turns red and your mistake count goes up. After 3 mistakes the game ends — so think carefully!

🛠️ Buttons Explained

• 💡 Hint — reveals one correct answer for a random empty cell.
• ↩ Undo — takes back your last move.
• ✏️ Notes — toggle pencil mode to write small candidate numbers inside a cell (useful for hard puzzles).
• ⏸ Pause — hides the board and pauses the timer.
• 🗑 Clear — erases all your moves and starts the puzzle fresh.
• 📊 Stats — shows your best times and win history.
• 🌙 Dark Mode — switches to a dark theme (top right corner).

⭐ Tips for Beginners

• Start with Easy mode — fewer empty cells means less guessing.
• Look for rows, columns, or boxes that are almost complete — those are the easiest to fill.
• Use Notes mode to jot down possibilities before committing.
• Use Hint if you're stuck — no shame in it! 😄
